F A S T L A N E (AGT/PD) BEGINNING - YOUR HOUSE The story begins in your bedroom. When you awake, be sure and enter your closet and wear the shoes and the jacket (not doing so will be hazardous to your health in the garage.) Now open the dresser drawer, take the magazine, and read it. Read the Article in the magazine (make a note of the telephone number 555-1278.) Go into the hallway and look at the ceiling (don't go up the stairs yet.) Go into the livingroom and take the homework. Read it. Look under the couch and you will find a pen. Now finish the homework: the answers are CHARON, MARTHA and GLENN. Now take the key. Don't try fixing the phone; you can't! Go into the kitchen and take the items on the counter. Open the bag and look in. Open the refrigerator and its drawer. Move the wilted leaves and take the can opener. Go back to the livingroom and walk down the stairs. Go into the den and feed the cat. DON'T open the fireplace. Go back into the vestibule and unlock the garage door. Walk into the garage and look at the Yugo. Open its hood and look at the wires. Take the wallet, but DO NOT connect the wires. Now enter the Yugo and read the note, Open the glove compartment and take the flashlight and the gloves. Exit the Yugo and go back in the house. Go upstairs to the hallway. Turn on the flashlight and go up the stairs into the attic. Move the insulation and take the map and birth certificate. Go back into the garage and then walk outside. Walk around to the back of the house where you will meet your sister. Talk to her. Now walk to the side of the house (your sister will follow.) Your next move will leave you at the bottom of a cesspool with a Troll. Look at the apple. Read the apple. Give the apple to the Troll. Climb up out of the cesspool, Give the gum to your sister and she will stop following you (you will not be able to drive away until you do this.) Go to the front of the house and enter the garage. On the west side of the garage is your Corvette. Enter it and look under the seat. Take the pocket change. Open your pocket and put the key in the ignition. Start the car. Look at the dashboard. Look at the gas gauge (it is almost empty.) Turn on the radio and then play the radio (you must type "push 1," "push 2," "push 3," and "push 4" to do this.) Station 3 warns you about poison fruit (remember the apple,) and station 4 gives you the correct telephone number to call for the car show (the one in the magazine was wrong.) Do NOT drive the car, instead BACK the car (otherwise terrible things will occur.) Check your map and your will see that you must drive to the garage (drive anywhere else and you will run out of gas.) THE GARAGE At the garage, turn off the car and TAKE YOUR KEY (there are criminals around.) Exit your car and enter the phone booth. Use the phone. Dial 555-9307. You now know that the show is at Southside Racetrack. Walk into the dark alley and if the mugger doesn't get you (50% chance) walk into the bathroom. Look in the toilet. Wear the rubber gloves you found in the Yugo. Reach in an take the ring. Put it in your pocket. Walk back to your car (watch out for the mugger.) Get in the car and open the flashlight (there is a $100.00 bill in it.) Buy gas. For best results, buy "superduper." THE STATE TROOPER Drive to Southside Racetrack. When stopped by the Trooper, turn off your car and get out. Talk to the Trooper and PROMPTLY follow his directions (you will need to open your wallet first) and show him your license, your birth certificate, and your registration. You will be sent to jail for a crime you did not commit. JAIL CELL Talk to Bubba your cellmate. After a few turns. he will ask for something. Give him the ring you put in your pocket (it will still be there.) Bubba will move and a lever is revealed. Pull it to summon the guard. There are 4 guards on duty. They will appear in a random manner. Talk to the one who appears. If it is the young male guard or the psychotic one, sit down on the bench. If it is the female guard, open the door. DESK SERGEANT'S ROOM You are now brought into the Desk Sergeant's room. Look at everything. Open the table drawer. Take the fingerprint card. Talk to the Sergeant. Type "take print" and the guard will take your prints on the card. Put the card in the FAX machine. Type "press 1" to send the prints via FAX. type "press 2" and in a couple of turns the FAX message will be received. Take your belongings from the Sergeant's desk. Pay your bail using your credit card, not cash. Get in your car and drive to Southside Racetrack. RACETRACK At the racetrack, exit the car and go into the office. Talk to the clerk. Pay the fee by giving her the $50.00 bill. Take the decal. Walk back to your car and put on the decal. Inspect the car before the judge arrives. Polish the paint. Wait for the judge. He will inspect your car and say you are a semi-finalist. Before he can give you a pass, it blows away. Look under the car and you will find it. Go back in the office and give the pass to the clerk. She will validate it. Walk in the Blue Room and take the soldering metal. Walk in the Green Room and take the circuit board. Walk in the Deserted Office and take the battery. Walk in the Storage Room and take the speaker. Put the speaker and the battery in the circuit board. Go to the office and ask the clerk for a soldering iron. Solder the board. You now have a radio. Walk to the Orange Room and talk to the Official. Give him the pass. Go IMMEDIATELY to the Glass Enclosed Room. Wait for the Official to arrive. He will take you to the final judging area. FINAL JUDGING AREA Give the radio to the judge (before its battery wears out.) The judge will give you a coin. DO NOT put the coin in the telephone. Flip the coin and YOU WIN! If you did all the above, you will have 200 points.
