G H O S T T O W N (AGT/Atari ST Adventure) You're a prospector looking for gold and have been told of a gold mine and a ghost town. Strange noises have been heard and a rancher's daughter has disappeared..... In common with some of the other AGT games, the scoring in Ghost Town depends partly on entering locations and partly on which items you are carrying. I can find no way to gain maximum points because of the way the objects are weighted - you just can't carry enough of the high-scoring items at the end! START: On a Prairie S - W - S - E - E - GET ROCK - W - NW - NW - N - N - GET STICK - E - E - E - E - S - S - S - S - (a snake blocks your path) - HIT SNAKE WITH ROCK - D - D - W - W - S - GET LANTERN - S - E - S - (a dark cave) - W - S - E - (a Mine Shaft... the miner won't let you leave) - HIT MINER WITH STICK - GET KEY - GET AXE - GET SHOVEL - W - UNLOCK CHEST WITH KEY - OPEN CHEST - LOOK IN IT - GET DUST - GET GUN. W - W - W - S - (a semi-transparent lion lunges at you) - HIT LION WITH AXE - GET AXE - S - S - W - U - W - E - S - READ NOTE - (filling in the gaps, it says to push the table to find a secret tunnel out of the jail) - N - D - E - E - (the ghost of Bart attacks you) - SHOOT BART WITH GUN - GET WHISKEY - (note spelling - it's different from the text) - EXAMINE BAR - (there's a door under it in front of some shelves) - OPEN BAR - LOOK IN IT - GET SHOTGUN - U - E - OPEN DRESSER - LOOK IN IT - GET BOX - W - N - READ LETTER - (unfinished and never posted) - S - D - W. S - S - S - S - (there's a gunman here) - SHOOT MAN WITH GUN - W - W - GET BAGS - OPEN BAGS - (loadsa money!) - E - (a deputy sheriff tells you to go east) - E - (you're now in jail. Remembering the note...) - PUSH TABLE - (you emerge on the road south of the town) - N - N - N - N - N - E - E - (you see a hysterical girl and an evil sheriff) - SHOOT SHERIFF WITH SHOTGUN - DROP BAGS - GET GIRL - GET BAGS - (you can't pick her up otherwise!) W - W - S - E - E - (a dark Workshop with a coffin. The girl is your light source! The coffin has handles) - TURN HANDLES - (the coffin opens and you both hop in) - PULL GIRL - (I don't know why but as a result you feel the coffin move and you hear digging. You see a jewel on the inside of the lid) - EXAMINE JEWEL - PULL IT........The coffin opens and you see the rancher disguised as an undertaker - very pleased to see his daughter again!
