LowCostCad will operate on any ST (and TT!). But on a ST 520 or ST 260 you
w'ont be able to load a printer driver and you will have to use a plotter
for output of your drawings. Just delete LCCAD.SET and rename LCCAD520.SET
to LCCAD.SET (see your TOS manual).
If you have problems starting up LowCostCad, lower the maximum number of
objects (see LCCAD.SET) with an editor.
LCCAD won't operate in ST-low or TT-low resolution because it needs a
resolution with 80 columns of text (use medium or high resolution).

If you use LowCostCad for the first time:
- Switch 'Help' on in the 'Options' menu.
- You can cancel input from keyboard or mouse with the 'Undo' butto.n
- While entering absolute coordinates with the mouse, you can type
  coordinates with your keyboard directly (without pushing F5=X/Y abs).
- While defining area, first give lower-left corner and then the upper-right
  corner.
- Making the dimension text longer (add space characters) will place the
  dimension text outside of the dimension lines and not in between.

A 3-dimensional version is being developed right now. The new LowCostCad
2-dimensional version will have an interactive icon menu and free defineable
hatching patterns.
