The disk accompanying the book contains a text editor, an integrated 68000 symbolic assembler, symbolic debugger and a resource construction kit. It also contains the example programs featured in the book with a large amount of documentation for technical reference. This is one of the all time greats as far as the ST is concerned. If you don't want to spend hundreds of pounds on a DTP system but do wish to be able to produce a good result then you should take a look at this. Following on from the standard EASY TEXT package (which we still have available for œ 19.95, but which obviously does not have so many features), this comes complete with a ring bound manual containing over 130 pages of instructions. The program itself can import text in the popular word processor formats and also clip art. It is GDOS based and so it is not too difficult to import extra fonts if you have them, if you find the fonts supplied are not sufficient for your needs. This is the package that has been supplied to a number of small business users who have not had any cause for complaint. If you have an underused printer, this could be the program that will change all of that. From producing single sheet flyers to multi sheet newsletters, you should be able to manage it all with this. Updated at very regular intervals, this has to be the most up to date virus killer available anywhere. It can now be run as a .PRG or as an .ACC. It will recognise bootsector and link virii, commercial bootsectors, anti virus bootsectors (with an option to write). Repair damaged or destroyed Bios parameter blocks. Recognise in excess of 70 virii and over 650 other bootsectors. Though costing a little more than PVK (for the time being), it has to be the safest bet if your disks hold any value for you at all. Remember that if a bootsector virus gets onto a commercial program that you have paid œ 30 or more for, it will be lost. prevent that heartache and disappointment by getting the best virus killer available TODAY. If you think it can never happen to you, please note that about 25% of the disks sent in to us, from ordinary ST users contain a virus of one sort or another, these are all people who will also think it could not happen to them. This is a stackable box in black plastic that can hold 150 disks. Dividers are supplied. This is a very good storage box and is what we have chosen for our own use here at L.A.P.D.
