Speedball II is the sequel to Speedball.Both games were
made by the Bitmap Brothers.They also made Xenon II.Why
don't they have any new ideas.Everything in Speedball II
is better than in SB I,but the game is still not good.
In SB II you have a larger playing area than in SB.That's
good.Now you can play a little bit tactical.
   There are more players in each team in SB II than in SB.
But all the players together have less intelligence than a
Finnish monkey.When I try to give the ball to a computer-
controlled player,he runs away!
    There are many ways to score in SB II.You can throw the
ball at stars on the walls.You also get some extra points 
every time an opponent is injured.You get ten points for
each goal,but if you throw the ball in some strange things
you get 15 or 20 points.
     The graphics are not very good.There are some nice pictures
when you win or lose a game,but the players are not good.
     The sound could have been much better.There are some
AWFUL music when you load the game and even though it gets
better in the game,it's no good.
     Speedball II is not one of the best sport games in the
world.Kick Off II and Wayne Gretzky Icehockey are both much
better.Not even the possibility to play cup or league makes
this game any better.If you're interested in good games only,
throw this away.
